Which players have earned spots in Troy's EPL top performers lineup?

Every fixture of top-flight games in the current term, football pundit Troy Deeney will give his lineup and boss of the Week.

Below are the most recent picks. Are you in agreement? Tell us using the response area at the bottom.

Goalkeeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham could have been six goals down at Bournemouth but for him. Key display, stepped up and showed some quality. Superb shot-stopping to earn them a 2-2 draw. Losing would have damaged their whole season.

Backline

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for player of the season. Fans mention Gunners' stars. He is the best performer without doubt.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a wild optimist to say 'Murillo nets and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. The odds were massive odds on that. He was excellent. He is emerging as a dominant figure. He can really be a tough opponent. Pleased to watch him perform as he did previously.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him a few times the previous season in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled due to errors. Yet now he's impressed greatly. He has shown great strength and powerful and appears graceful. It looks like he has discovered a ideal club.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a full-back, leaning towards a modern type in attack. He's been a wonderful signing for Brighton. Few are astonished at them unearthing more talent unexpectedly? Many felt after selling Pervis Estupinan it was odd but Brighton know better than most.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they are selected for the same reason. Their clubs triumphed, all discuss the scorers, but lacking these players the sides struggle. They are so good. They halt attacks, they support going forward.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. A lot of followers, including my son, had doubts if he could be the man to get them over the top. Three strikes in the key match and supporters now wish to erect a monument of him. Goals, composure, he dominated. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he is at a point now where it is extremely tough to leave him out. My view was his beginning was strong the term, I think he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could join to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he appears to have found his footing. Two superb finishes in the Leeds match pulled his side when trailing. He was the difference maker.

Strikers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I noted he seemed lacking his normal self. He looked like he'd lost a yard. But wow. Words fail me. He was excellent. Phenomenal in his approach and in his dual goals.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He performs strongly, typically sharper as a substitute, but with Gordon sidelined so he is required to feature. He squandered a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. But to have the inner resilience to place himself into tough scenarios and score twice was great.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and beats Arne Slot. A excellent strategy. It could have been several more for Forest and all would agree.
