The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide united with local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Local events included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy proudly.
